FISH IN THE LAKE

We have stocked the lake with grass carp to eat the algae and

keep our lake clean.  If you should catch one of these fish, we ask

that you please release it back into the lake.

POOL PARTIES

If you are planning a party,  please contact the lifeguard to

schedule a time.  There is a $25 fee,  plus a refundable $75.00

deposit required.  If you are planning on using a grill other than

the one that is provided, it will be necessary to have the grill placed

in the grass area or outside the building in the parking lot.

Individual homeowners are responsible for any and all damages

to the common areas.

STREET PARKING

There is a South Carolina State Ordinance (56-5-2510)

that addresses parking on the street.  "No person shall

stop, park, or leave standing a vehicle, whether attended

or unattended, upon the roadway outside a

residential district when it is practicable to stop,

park, or leave the vehicle off the roadway.  An

unobstructed width of the highway opposite a

standing vehicle must be left for the free passage

of other vehicles and a clear view of the stopped

vehicle must be available from a distance of two

hundred feet in each direction upon the highway. "

We have several families that are parking in the

street.  The police have already cited 38 vehicles

in Half Mile Lake.  Please be aware that the police

will be patrolling and will be issuing tickets.  The

reason for this ordinance is for the safety of not

only drivers, but walkers as well.

GARBAGE CANS.....Our covenants and

restrictions state all garbage cans must be kept

out of sight from the street.  Please make sure

you find a way to hide your can!
